Hi, made the new sub-forum for unrelated art, in case anyone's interested, I know I am. I often make random sketches just to see what I can do, or to see if certain techniques work. I'll be putting them up once their finished.

Spam art!

This is a sketch of my backyard while I was eating breakfast.

This is an entry for a monthly challenge that is on a forum I go on. forum.werewolfcafe.com if you're interested.

A sketch of my brother, don't know why I did it, but the facial pose is great!

An experiment of a fight, I've never done it before, heard all the criticism, so I know it's a shoddy job, but it's way better than I thought it would end up.

Yeah, I get pretty lazy on my sketches as well, but I'm still usually picky on drawing, especially expressions, *poses, *hands, *action scenes, *battles, etc.etc...

but the scenery drawings are better than what I can do

Honestly, I thought I would never get to this stage, I thought it would be so hard that I wouldn't make it anywhere like this. Literally, all it takes is practise, and some way to see it as fun. I know I won't get like those experts who put hours upon hours into comics, not unless I really but my backbone into it.

hours upon hours is not worth it haha.

Just kidding.

But a lot of the times I'd rather put out a comic in less than an hour then sketching for like 30 minutes then 30 minutes for the thumbnail then an hour for the final sketch then another hour for inking ><

It's all so time consuming and I don't usually have a problem with that if I like the final product in the end.

Well, I spent hours upon hours on this picture (next time it will take less than half an hour) and came up with this for my own personal comic, when I just so happen to be really short on time. (not like that's ever going to happen, right? Confused )

Yes, it is. The person in that is Millie, and she can conjure up a large pencil and eraser. She LOVES her pencil so when it finally broke, she became upset. It's not broken yet, the comic hasn't gone past 25 COMIC pages (that means excluding all filler pages)

Oh, I didn't know...

Lucky you, so far I haven't gotten past five I think...just losing my motivation and have no time-and my depression doesn't help at all

Yeah, time was a big factor I considered, if you can't post once a week, do it in two weeks, and do it BEFORE it's due, once yo uget the hang of it, maybe you can do some extra things, like, I don't know, join a collab, write a book, do another comic (Oh, yeah, that's what I'm doing :3) but if you want your comic to come to fruition, you may have to plan it. I have a rough outline of how mine's going to start, and get through (To be honest, it's taken a LOT longer to get through my plan than I had intended, I expected Callum to be a full werewolf by about the tenth comic, it's 25 and still only ears!). If you want help with planning, there are 10 other people doing this collab that have plenty of ideas, Help! is more than willing, I am more than willing, (albiet in a sticky situation) and that's to name the minority. Put up a topic if you're interested in doing this, It will do no harm to ask.

Dark lines using a paint tool, then using a smaller smudge tool, I smudged perpendicular to it, it didn't work out too well, so I will have to experiment.
